Donate by Mail

Donations via check or money order may be sent to:

Tax receipts will be mailed within 4-6 weeks after your donation has been processed.

You can also download receipt at any time by creating an account.
Make donations payable to “eduKenya.” If you are donating to a specific program or in honor/memory of someone, please write the designation or name on the memo of your check.

Donate Stocks

By donating appreciated securities that you have owned for more than a year, you can reap tax advantages.

Publicly traded stock, publicly-traded or closely-held securities, mutual funds, EFT Deduction received on gifts; capital gains may be passed on to eduKenya.

Donate Bitcoin

Bitcoin is a global payment network that allows eduKenya to accept donations from around the world. Anyone with an Internet connection and a bitcoin digital wallet can donate bitcoin to eduKenya.

In the U.S., bitcoin is treated as property given the IRS guidance. Donating appreciated property offers tax benefits in regards to capital gains tax.

Donate by M-PESA

M-PESA is a mobile phone-based money service for our Kenyan donors.

To donate via M-PESA, please do the following:
  • Select “Pay Bill” from the M-PESA menu.
  • Enter the eduKenya Business No: 811950
  • Enter your name into the Account No. Field.
  • Enter the amount you wish to donate in Kenyan Shillings.
  • Enter your M-PESA PIN No.
  • Confirm that all details are correct.
  • You will receive a confirmation of the transaction via SMS.
