About eduKenya

eduKenya is a movement of people who believe that life can be radically different for the 600,000 people who live in abject poverty in the Mathare slum of Nairobi, Kenya.

Our vision is that all children and their families in Mathare experience fullness of life through economic, social and spiritual transformation. We work to make this a reality by empowering children and their families with the opportunity to break the chronic cycle of poverty and transform their lives and communities.

eduKenya is passionate about seeing every child in Mathare break free from the cycle of poverty and reach his or her God-given potential. We holistically tackle the root causes of poverty by empowering children through education, teaching income generating skills to parents and caring for community members living with HIV/AIDS and other life threatening conditions. We believe all people are made in the image of God and created to experience fullness of life.

eduKenya is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves people irrespective of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.
